Optimal tooth measurement & smile designing software.

Esthetic EngineerEsthetic Engineer™ is a software program designed for general practitioners and orthodontists. It determines ideal tooth widths and correct lateral extensions to obtain optimal results when closing diastemas, correcting peg laterals, converting canines, etc. Esthetic EngineerT produces teeth and smiles that are symmetrical, proportional, and free of unsightly spaces.

Esthetic Engineer™ will automatically do the complex calculations necessary to provide information such as - where to move each tooth, how far to move each tooth, what the resulting gaps should be, and how much to add to the side of each tooth to get the optimal result. As the dentist or orthodontist, you simply input the existing tooth widths and the spaces between them, and Esthetic EngineerT will do the calculations to provide you with the relevent schedules.

Step 1
Using Dentagauge 1 and 2, measure your patients existing tooth widths and tooth gaps.

Step 2
Enter the measurements into Esthetic Engineer™ schedule 1 and 2 as shown. Esthetic Engineer™ automatically adjusts the numbers in the following schedules to indicate the required tooth movement, required gaps and suggested lateral extensions.

Schedule 3
Indicates desirable tooth movement so as to create a tooth position that enables half the composite to be added on the mesial, and half on the distal (not bulging all on one side).

Schedule 4
Indicates resulting post-orthodontic interim tooth gaps.

Schedule 5
Suggested symmetrical lateral extensions post-orthodontic movement.

Schedule 6
Indicates resulting tooth widths after movements and lateral extensions.

Esthetic Engineer™ also includes a tooth size calculator that tells you how wide each tooth should be given a known arch length.
